This was to replace an old cast iron enameled sink in a newly tiled countertop. I had tried reusing the old sink but the rim was not able to hold with the thickness of tile, greenboard, plywood we used. This sink fit well and was attached using extra long Elkay screws from Home Depot, sold by the bag. Elkay screws are commonly used for all makes of stainless self-rimming drop-in sinks. The Moen sink has a great look and finish. The attachment of the strainer basket and the disposal went very smooth. I'm old school and used plumbers putty so I know these will never leak in my lifetime. The deep side must not be the disposal side unless you check drain exit elevation first. I had to use a very short tailpipe to connect the deep side to the tee over the trap. Your installation must allow for the extra 3 inch drop on the left basin. Great sink, wife loves it.

technically we do have two issues w/ this sink -- but for the price super willing to overlook them. plus, this thing is GORGEOUS. :Dissue one: there's a dent. yeah, barely noticeable. my brother was kind enough to install it for me and he had to point it out to me tho i was looking. it's on the front lip/overhang. we figured that's why it was so affordable. but since we plan on tiling over it to create an undermount look this is not even an issue.issue two: it leaked. my brother is a state-certified contractor who has driven 10 hours to help me do some home remodeling in his "off-season". he says this is the first sink he's ever had leak on him. it may very well be b/c of the strainer kits i purchased but again, b/c of the price for this sink, we kinda lended it to that. ;) either the kits were too small, or the sink drain holes were slightly too big. very slight. nothing a LOT of silicone didn't fix. :Doverall i adore this sink. granted i didn't love my old sink, but i didn't have complaints either, it served its purpose. my brother talked me into finding another sink b/c tiling over it would make it rather permanent for a while. i'm so happy i found this sink. :)

Great sink, even the contractor, who happened to be a patient of mine that came to my rescue one day before Thanksgiving. Started with a kitchen faucet that literally died, after 10yrs, no further repair, even though 2 plumbers attempted to talk my husband in refubishing this washerless Kohler faucet that was originally purchased 10 years ago for over $200.00, for a mere $250.00 would repair. Beware of such gestures. Bought great moen faucet locally for 219.00, but then thought I could use a new sink after 20year to match the faucet. Then thought of amazon.com which I should have done in the first place for the faucet. I found this great sink, reviewed the measurements, from amazon.prime, received in 2 days no shipping fee, great! Beautiful quality and exactly as descibed and moen backs their sinks as per my contractor. Great quality, would highly recommend highly!Impressive with the new faucet.
